Ooooh, Golden Sun, i like that O.O

If you think "just 5 years from the last one" it doesn't sound that bad (especially since Nintendo has a pretty nasty habit of making their fanbases wait an absurdly long time). But it's been OVER 10 YEARS since the last 2D Metroid, and that was a remake mind you. The last original one was 13, count 'em, THIRTEEN years ago. That's two entire generations right there.

And I haven't even played Other M to hate it like everyone else, so it's slightly less painful for me.

Even more painful, no game has followed Fusion's story to this day ;_;

That being said, I'm indifferent towards Star Fox or F-Zero, and I haven't played Earthbound or Golden Sun to want more of those yet, so...

1. 2D Metroid. That's it really

3 - Mother

2 - Paper Mario (Along the lines of the N64 and Gamecube offerings)

1- The Mysterious Murasame Castle. (Seriously, why did Nintendo never bother to even touch this one?).
2- EarthBound.
3- Super Paper Mario (Only after they make a true Paper Mario 3 so fans can be happy).
