So, basically, you blame the games main faults on hardware limitations?

In turn, I blame the games faults on abysmal and morbid PSP software sales. Had the PSP been able to move software(or hardware in the western world), then Team Ninja wouldn't have had to make their newest NG game exclusive to the DS, therefore, we would have full 3d backgrounds in 1 version, and your problem would be solved.

Then again, we would have to deal with the vastly inferior control scheme of the PSP and its analog nub, so in retrospect, it probably would have scored lower on that system than the DS.

hmmm, what happened to "STICK TO THE TOPIC"? How did it go from Ninja Gaiden on DS to PSP talk?

My speculation? the limit of the storage in the cartridge. IGN is right, just imagine what it would look like if it's done all in 3D.

 

You wrote that. It indicates that "if the cartridge wasn't limiting, the game would have scored higher, because it wouldn't have its biggest fault."

 

It's a passive-agressive pro PSP anti DS troll, and its a big "F U" to Naz's post indicating sticking to topic, attempting to get as close to the edge as you can, without getting banned. It's not on topic, it's fanboy wars, its just well disguised, and I for one and getting tired of your trolls on every pro-nintendo topic on this forum, and I'm sure every forum you visit.

 

You hate the DS, we get it, just stfu about it, imo. I'm done discussing anything but on topic posts from now on, in this thread, and that includes any more responses to trolls.

It seems some people are more interested in bashing other consoles, instead of defending a game.

Well, I shall continue with my view of the game, until hopefully someone can participate in my discussion of the GAME itself.


I would love to see another Ninja Gaiden game on Handheld. To me this is an experimental game, They've tried the "Resident Evil cheat" (a quote from review), they've tried the 3D engine. Both looks fine in its way. I personally much prefer the 3D engine because it centres around the character, making it much easier to see what's going on on screen. (you don't lose track of where you are).

I can see why they only do it in Boss battle, because you are (most likely) one on one with a big enemy, Less A.Is means less graphical power used to control them and more used on environmental aspects.

Good game, Decent review. I'm not sure if this game will sell well, to me the control scheme is pretty awesome, except I find that they mapped every button as block a little strang.

 I personally don't think I've seen something as beautiful (hand-drawn) since FFX.

 I hope no PSP owners will say 'it's crap' (because it's ignorant). I mean, it's no God of War, but the art-design is quite cool. I'd think it's one of the best looking games on DS, IGN review agrees.

Personally I hate Ninja Gaiden on principle, as it's a franchise that's sold entirely on blood and boobs, but if it's fun to play I'll probably at least rent it.

Incidentally, that's the same reason I hate God of War.  Both are basically inherintly immature franchises.
