Forums - Nintendo - why is nintendo wrong to be proud of their metacritic scores?

Why would people not be proud of a good critics reception in their field? That's false modesty at best.

This is like Sony saying their console is the most powerful, why should they hide it?

A lot of Nintendo games are great, I'm not their biggest fan, but they have their formula and their output is certainly more consistant than Ubisoft's, EA's or even Sony (I like some of Sony's studios, but certainly not all of them) and Microsoft, keeping that quality up there over such a long period of time is a pretty big accomplishment in and of itself.

Did anyone say they were wrong about it? Bragging about a game's quality is a pretty normal thing in this industry. A lot of publishers offer bonuses to devs if they reach a certain metacritic rating.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Did you read the OP? Kotaku wrote a whole article saying they were wrong about it...
