What's your point?

I fixed some of that for you, and added another. You really hit the nail on the head in terms of the problems with The Order. You might be able to try really hard and find 2-3 games that fit this entire list, maybe. But you won't find many at all. Hell, I cannot think of a single one. And that's why The Order gets so much hate. It's not just "omg its so short!" it's that it's so short, it's extremely linear, its loaded with so many cut scenes that almost half the time you're "playing" you're actually just watching, an enormous part of the game is tied to QTE's, there's little to no replay value, AND it's going to launch at $60. Another reason the flames are burning so strong is because it's a PS exclusive, and a highly hyped/anticipated one, so you have a slew of people arguing and defending the game. Which just means more replies and more discussion. There's nothing uncanny about it. Other games like Titanfall, Evolve, hell even Ryse were subjected to the same hate. And it's not because of the Sony brand, either. Uncharted and LoU might have had a small amount of hate prior to launch but it's overwhelmingly positive. And Bloodborne can do no wrong right now. Maybe this game is just getting hate because it deserves it? A lot of people don't like the idea of a 5-6 hour game where 35-40% of it are cut scenes, and the only real replay value is replaying the game to hunt trinkets. And it's $60. |

Funny how many of those same points didn't stop you shelling out $60 to buy Wolfenstein and describe it as amazing. That game has lots of cutscenes and can be beaten in no time.

Actual game of the year awards/contentions vs. thread on gamefaqs which I'm actually pretty sure is sarcastic.
I shouldn't even have to explain the huge difference...

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

You posted a personal blog on forbes. What's the difference with a thread on a forum?

A. It's an article by a contriutor on Forbes, not some guy on blogspot.
B. I also posted an article of the game actually winning a game of the year award, and a runner up spot from polygon.

Yeah, Polygon. Anyway, there are thousands of gaming sites. I didn't hear many people proclaim Wolfenstein as goty.
Contributor on Forbes means nothing btw. ;)

Those links still show your point as being nonsense.
The game was considered for several game of the year awards, both overall, and in it's genre.

No, I said not many considered it goty. My point still stands.
"From what I played of The Order: 1886, I came away pleasantly surprised. What I thought would simply be another third person shooter actually revealed itself to be a sharply crafted experience, with an unprecedented attention to detail in its art and craftsmanship.
Only by February 20th will we know if The Order: 1886 will hold up, and potentially become a longstanding franchise for Sony."

Sounds good to me.
