Well because the games are still selling well and there isn't a new entry into the series yet.. If pikimin 4 comes out Pikimin 3 price might drop but not sure

That's no reason for the game to above release price a year after release.

Lack of copies in circulation coupled with no plans for a reprint by Nintendo. Prices for used copies are also above $60.

Digital copies will still be available so lack of prints isn't going to prevent people from playing.
