He gets paid for everything he says.

Not really, but he must have a vested interest in the game.

I meant that he gets paid by the hour, what he is says doesn't matter he get money anyway.  He can now say that FFVII remake will be exclusive to xbox one and that Evolve will be the best selling game ever...And he still will get money you know =p..

Thanks, Pachter, for jinxing The Order >_<

I don't know about the next holiday bundle predictions, it would be Bloodborne or some other early 2015 title as well... however, given the short therm prediction of selling around 5 millions is realistic given the pre-order numbers and the recent mostly positive previews (I take the negative with a grain of salt, they usually just get stuck on one or two talking points that are meaningless out of context... and it seems they have not looked at recent material).

Oh well, we shall see...

So a bundle would sell 5-7 million? Seriously?

Well, if you bundle the game with every unit, sure.

i dont see it getting 5 mil

I think there is already a Europe / Japan bundle available for launch.

Now that it is known that the campaign can actually be beat in around 5.5 hours and that the game isn't anything too special... I highly doubt it Pachter. But hey, what do I know, I'm not an analyst, just a gamer that actually buys the games.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

hahhaha classic pachter nonsense

That's quite optimistic. I see ~3 million when all is said and done.

Yeah, 3 million seems like a much more reasonable guess, maybe 4 million if it's well received (75+ meta) and has some decent bundling.

Suppose we'll have to wait and see though.
