Forums - Gaming - The 1886 news are getting me on my nerves..

It pretty much feels like we are being dictated on what is good or what is bad, by people who either liked it or didn't like it.

It's just another game, and if people don't like it, fine. if people do? Good for them.
All the drama around it, makes it all worse.

If the game isn't good for the community,  games like this will make people realize it on their own.

When people like the stuff they see, and people slam on the game 24/7.. they will just feel like protecting it more, therefore the entire point with trying to force them to see, from the beginning on why we should have more for 60$ was an dead attempt from the start.

to change the community for the better, pretty much dead from the start. People will get over-protective.  It's like trying to tella  religious person or a cult that their faith is wrong. they will feel threatened by it and will go into an offence mode, while deep down, they do have doubts.

Just let the game release, if it is an flop, people will be more careful next time. making them angry before the release will just make people hold onto it stronger, therefore they will damage control it to protect it, because they don't want people to say: Haha, told you so.

The worst thing is that most of these sites are just regurgitating information they themselves found on some internet forun, presumably from unqualified sources, or some MS plant...

So much negativity!.. Why do they even gaming sites at all?

Or they just watched bunch of walkthroughs on YT...

Its an exclusive to one of the top two consoles and its short and cinematic so half the internet must pretend to rage.

Just like the other half pretended to be raged when it was Ryse.

Welcome to Fanboys. Let them rage, enjoy what is hopefully still a good game.

The other half didn't pretend to be enraged. Actually it was highly rated by the users.

The problem is that, the half that pretended to be enraged at Ryse more than a year ago, is defending the same type of game with teeth and claws.

How's that for double standard? And threads like this are inviting for "memory checks".

I grew to hate fanboy wars but I dislike even more fanboys without moral standards.

This is not directed to you but for people that ragged on Ryse earlier this gen and raged on the same treatment TO:1886 is getting.

Is 1886 that game that's like 5 minutes long and is also a movie instead of a game?

5 mintues long with 16 hours of cut scenes and will destroy earth by breaking the time continuum.  we all must do what we can to ensure no one ever plays this game to save the sinners from the rapture.

The console wars. Its a nasty business ^^

there are two top consoles?

I know its annoying man but you gotta understand they are just the vocal minority. Beating a dead horse by saying this but don't let it sway your opinion on it.

No problem. Michael Pachter already predicted massive success for The Order, so we should be safe.
