Oh man I feel your pain. What a lousy gift lol.
Catherine kicked my ass so much I had to enter super easy god mode to beat some of the levels :(
I don't like the feeling of being rushed, so that constant feeling of panic (which for others made the game amazing), but for me it just drove me nuts. Also not that good at puzzles, so it made it even more complicated for me.

Yep. Victoria II and Europa Universalis III. I learned the former pretty well after a couple dozen hours but not really got a hand of EU3. EU4 is out now and it's simpler so I might just play that.
| KingdomHeartsFan said: For me that game was the Witcher 2, I couldn't remember all the things in the tutorial to save my life, hell I think even died during the tutorial and the game recommended I play on easy. Not even the souls games kicked my ass that much. I hated the menus, there was like 15 sub menus and each of those had sub menus and I was just overwhelmed, it was so cluttered and there was so much. I took some time off after the tutorial and came back to the game and there was so many little things like I couldn't remember like what the spells did just from looking at the weird symbols, what meditating did, which sword killed what and I just gave up on the game. I really wanted to get into the game from the great reception it got, but I just couldn't do it. So has any game been too complicated for you? |
I came here to say Witcher 2 but looks like you had the same experience I had. I haven't touched it since then.
Strategy games with resource management and all. I always struggled with them.

its easy, they cut out some of the boring stuff in eu4. you shouldnt focus to much on one thing and you can pause and do stuff at any moment.
it just gets hard if you wanna get some of the of the achievements...

I'm quite surprised to see you say that. I thought you were an expert at those kind of games? |
I was more in the mood to learn Victoria because I played multiplayer with a friend of mine but I didn't really have any motiviation for EU3.
Maybe sports games. Apart from that, not even an RPG was too complicated for me.

I still got my money's worth because I saw some full frontal nudity but damn, that game was too much. I don't know how PC gamers deal with that crap! |
Good to hear I wasn't the only one lol.
