Hey fellow gamers, I'm about to finish Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon on the DS, I'm in the final chapter, and I was wondering which do you guys think is the best Fire Emblem from the ones that were localised in Americas and Europe?

I gotta choose Path Of Radiance from GameCube, man I loved that game back then, it had those beautiful cutscenes and Ike is so lovable! And I really liked the fact that you can insert you GC memory card on the Wii and use your trained chars from PoR in Radiant Dawn. Besides, there was some sort of DLC (well, kind of, you can say that was on disk DLC at that moment), in which you get 5 extra chapters on the GC game if you conect it with the first GBA game through the GC-GBA link cable, I'm one of the lucky ones that's got both the cable and the GBA game :)

I still have to play Awakening, was gonna play it but I preferred to play Shadow Dragon first.

And BTW, would you buy a compilation of both Fire Emblem games from GBA and DS that weren't localised? That would be awesome, and a great release for Nintendo to make some money.

I've only played Awakening and a little bit of the one on GBA, and Awakening is probably one of the best games I've ever played.

I loved the characters, the pair up system, the marriage system, and the soundtrack.

If Nintendo/Intelligent Systems ever did release a compilation of Fire Emblem games never localized, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

The first GBA one.

I voted awakening, path of radiance is a very close second.

I've gotta say Awakening because I wasn't thoroughly impressed with Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword. Also, I still haven't played PoR and my thoughts on RD are very mixed. Shadow Dragon was also really lacking but then again, it's a remake of a Famicom game.

I say Awakening cause I havnt played most of them

I can only go by what I've played:

1. Sacred Stones (introduced me to the series, a pretty epic game)
2. Path of Radiance (I'm not that far into the game yet, but it has a good chance of becoming my new number 1)

Awakening felt like it had the most to offer me and is my favorite but I still hold the first GBA one in high regard as well.
