I'm sorry, but nothing is going to save the Vita.

*Will save vita
-GTA game
-FF fantasy Dissidia
-Monster hunter spin off
-Most of xb1/ps3 multiplatform should come in the same day in psv
-Metal gear solid 5 also on Vita in the same date as X1/PS4 version or a Metal gear solid peace walker 2
-A real Fifa games
-Revive AA IP on PSV

*Won't save vita
A lot new Indie games for the future
One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 / J-Stars Victory VS+ (release)
Street Fighter V (port announcement, information, trailer)
Digimon Cyber Sleuth (western announcement, information, trailer)
God Eater 2: Rage Burst (western announcement, information, trailer)

Playstation Vita M(obile)
Ultimate fusion between handheld and smartphone
Supports Android
Supports 4G

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

They need a monster hunter and dragon quest. Games like that would help it sell over 20 million.

That sure is a lot of things that wont happen... (Heck, I think even gravity rush 2 will be coming out for the ps4 to show how little they care about the vita)

Indeed you are Dr.Vita. I think it's too late for the poor handheld.

Ports arent appealing at all.
The other games sound good but are still very niche so really wont appeal to a whole lot of people. Still would help though.
Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter WILL HELP, but mainly in Japan.
A Vita mobile sounds nice but wont really be thin like a phone.

Honestly it will take a whole lot more than you listed to save the Vita, particularly EXCLUSIVE games that appeal to the Western audience.

EDIT: What ever happened to that PS4/Vita bundle? That will boost sales solely because its free.

How is the Vita gonna add in all the features of a phone and be cheaper?

@Dr.Vita

I think the biggest on the list is the Vita Phone. That would deffinitly boost sales like crazy. I think they should stay away from android though. To many issues to deal with, and they can easily build PSN up as a competitor.

I am seriously hoping they will put together some sort of PlayStation Subsidery program with PlayStation Vue. Something like that could bring in massive sales for all of the PSN services and PlayStation hardware devices.
They could basically get people out the door with a PS4 and Vita Phone for Zero down on a 2 year contract if they do it right. They could even get away with taking say $200 up front form people buying both on the contract, and it would still send both products flying out the door at iPhone and Galaxy sell rates.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

If they wanted and if Sega and capcom would allow it, they could bring Megaman and sonic as vita exclusives, and sony would fund the projects and add some cash on top. Those 2 platformers were the only competition to nintendo's platformer, and I feel like it embodies the spirit of playstation and sony, being a more serious game, and all, for a more mature audience.

They are walking hand in hand with capcom this gen so I dont see the problem and sega is on sony's side in terms of exclusives, so in terms of relationship between companies, I dont see the obstacle. but sony gotta invest and that might be a problem.

In any case, this would be huge if they did, and would certainly not go unnoticed.

I have to agree. if vita and the phone division merges together they would be a force to be reckoned with.  They could market it as the PS phone, but the thing is that they would have to create their own OS if they dont go with android, and google wont like that so google wont support it, same as it did with windows phones and RT devices.

But if they go with android, they could do marvelous things, but it would be easier to hack and jailbreak those system and people would exploit PSN a lot and get games for free ect...

and how to make a phone have a built in controller is another problem.

There are lots of problems engineers have to resolve in order to make it possible. In terms of power it is most definetely possible, but in terms of ergonomics attractiveness. The OS/UI... There is a lot to consider.

sorry for double posting I am new around here
