Noob question, how do you make new Palico equipment? I'm almost 17 hours into the game (mind you a lot of it has been on Online quests) and I still haven't found any 'Scraps' or whatever is needed to make new equipment for the cat.

I did a bit of research and I believe that you need to do Meownster hunts on Sunsnug Isle which you need to progress through the story to get to as you travel to different villages.  You should earn scrap from the monsters that you hunt and can then create new armor.  Again this is all based off of research, I could probably confirm it in a day or two though.

Thanks, I'm just on the second village. I spent way too much time doing online quests lol

Well, time for my noob question. Does anyone have any tips on organizing your items in the storage box? I've read

that it's important to remain organized but I never had any ideas on how to set it up.

My current HR is 2.

I have the full Kecha armor set and currently working towards a Nerscylla set.

I just made the full set except for the gloves because I have some Hunter's Vambraces with 24 def.  The set looks sick.

Just do it little and often really. Though it's really imp

Important to keep all your potions and healing items together, and to remember what combines together for better healing items. Blue Mushroom + Herb, then add honey... You get the idea.

Keeping the box organised not only makes it easier to remember, butso you can adjust your farm and hunting accordingly to get those rarer items too.

Kecha Wacha is toast. Very cool monster, great design and lots of personality.

Up to three star, with full Alloy armour and the soldier's dagger as my main set.

I could probably try some low rank online quests now, but I'm still adjusting to the controls.

Did you say you got a new 3DS for the game? If so (or for anyone else with the New 3DS), how is it? Is the extra camera control useful?

3DS XL+CPP >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> New 3DS XL in terms of controls. The C-Nub is garbage, been looking for something to put over it to give it some damn grip. If you used a ranged weapon ever I think it would be hell =P

Pretty much what ktay said; I haven't tried the CCP, but I imagine that would be much better.

The C-stick on the New 3DS sucks. It's too small, too stiff, hard to keep a grip on, and is too close to both the X button and the system's hinge.

Still, the head-tracking 3D and fast loading is nice, so I don't regret my purchase.

Hmm, didn't expect the C-Stick to be great. Then again, didn't expect it to be quite that bad either.
