Figured out what i was doing wrong: i was ready for the voyage against Gore Megala, and i wasn't in Harth at the time, so couldn't figure out why they weren't giving me more quests. Now i've gotten a request for Offline Congalala and can improve my weapons. Then i can progress online. Yay!

Still kicking around the low level quests offline...Damn lack of time.

Just beat the Shagaru Magala and man, all those particle effects made me feel like I was in a Michael Bay movie. Also, I don't know why but it felt easier to beat than the Gore Magala. :-/

There, low-rank Ingot Armor. Probably only good for one or two more hunter-ranks, though :-/

Trouble is i can't double it, what I really need is the Guard + skill, this is Guard Up, two different things i'm afraid.

You finally got the Ingot Armour, then? Nice!

And Barroth armor is not as hard to get as i imagined. Interestingly, the monster not being available in the game makes getting their armor *easier*, since they can't throw as many parts out there, but it's still a one-for-one part trade with monsters that are in the game. Only trouble is i need "Gypceros Head" and i don't have any of that.
