I am so glad after the Project Ego / Fable debacle over a decade ago I pledged to never give this man another dollar. Have not regretted it and feel bad for other folks who were deceived and misled by his promises and failure to deliver on them again.

Fable II was really good! But then, I actually liked Fable.

I certainly wouldn't give it a chance until after it released and I had read community feedback on it.

And that goes for any console I own - PC/PS4/PS3/Wii etc.

The thought of him revisiting Populous was incredible... and then it turned into the omnishambles that Godus is today.  I don't see why I should give him the time of day anymore.  It's been 10 years since The Movies and that's the last thing he made that I enjoyed.

In hindsight the absurd expectations he put on Fable would struggle to be achieved on the current systems, much less 15 year old tech.  If he had said "It's an okay game with some humor and all, looks nice."  I would had been fine, him claiming that every single action would have consequence and see a world age over years blew my mind. I was young and naive, he knew they had no chance to deliver such a grandiose vision.

Well, he was right. He just neglected to mention that your actions would be limited to farting and dancing at people.

the solutions isn't to stop talking to the press,... it's to stop making commitments you can't keep.

i'm in software too,.. start with a solution discovery process before saying you can do something. if in two weeks you can't get a working prototype than you don't know enough about what your saying to actually deliver.
