I'm more interested in customizing my mech than customizing my character.

Obviously FFXV has better graphics, but the depth of field and the draw distance are poor compared to xenoblade, not to mention that in xenoblade you can explore by air, in final fanatsy you are limited to a car and obviously the loading isnt as heavy as in xenoblade

Do we know for sure that airships are to be excluded? Last I heard, SE is still determining whether they will be used for actual travel, so I think it's a little early to say. Granted, I assume airships will be used as fast/quick travel and not actual, manual travel as with the car.

according to the last trailer we can use them to travel  through most of the lands with free will, or at least thats the impression we get by looking at the video

PS, and Xb1 as well, have FFXV to look forward to. Obvious comparisons are and will continue to be made. XCX looks to have a more expansive and varied world but I think FFXV takes the cake in raw graphical power and battle system, in my opinion (I'm a big fan of fast paced, action RPGs), so I don't think it's a matter of jealousy.

People are just speaking their minds: the character models pale in comparison to the gorgeous enviroments and monster designs seen so far.

you are rigth, in the sense of realits graphics (more real graphics on FFXV) but,  i think is the only point  for a win  for FFXV vs Xenoblade... and there is another  wrong point if you want to have the best performance and graphics fidelity get FFXV on your PC no on ps4/xbone... so  here you can see that xenoblade is only to be experienced on the WiiU it's exclusive..., FFXV is not (get it on PC if you want ultra settings).

They haven't announced a PC version :p There may be one eventually (i hope so), but as of right now it's PS4/X1 only.

You would hope so by now since SE has already made an effort to garner sales on PC, now that releasing FF games on PC is a thing I'd expect it to be released at least a year later tops, if it's going to be longer at say 5 years they won't see many sales by then, it'a a shame it;s currently two platforms only and I'm really not a fan of the poor draw distance 9I can actually see the circle around the character) and general DOF, I'd definitely pick it up if it landed on Steam though, provided at a cheaper price for the longer wait.

Not even gonna lie, i read it but didn't really catch it. That one is on me, my bad. Although, I'm not sure if that is a fair assesment though. I assume it has more to do with the writing of the story/dialogue than Samus actually having a voice (unless they got a really bad voice actress or something.

They did both. But Metroid games are about isolation, voice acting has no place in that.

Ironically they got one of the best female voice actors for the Metroid Prime Trilogy, but used a nobody for Metroid: Other M.

To be fair Metroid Fusion also gave Samus a voice, but much more limited and better (inner monologues during elevator rides). I'd be ok with future Metroid games having such voice acting.

I see, but I still strongly feel that Samus and Link should have a voice and a stronger personality to fit into their world (giving how Samus and Link are already established people in the world) and just not a blank slate for us to immerse ourselves in, that's what games with (deep) character custimization and MMORPGs are for. It might be a bit too late at this point (especially with LoZ) however.

Can't say i see anything wrong with the draw distance, it looks fairly standard. The world could do with a bit more filling, but the asset fields themselves are mostly fine. I especially appreciate how far the grass is sometimes drawn. It's always irked me how quickly most open world games start fading in/out grass (something XCX is also frequently guilty off, though they do a better job of hiding the swaps that FF15 does). Both are put to shame by TW3 in that respect though :p

Anyway, yeah, hopefully FF15 does arrive on PC sooner rather than later. I'm not really expecting it to come with any major additional graphical features, but it would be nice to play it at 1080p (i'm expecting the PS4 version to be 900p).
