oh pls Kowen this is getting old. We both know u have a bias, so why insist on constantly hiding behind facts and moving the posts all the time. Which other console in history at $400 has sold as much as the ps4 in the same time frame? Is it not a fact that unlike all its predecessors and even most of the competition the PS4 is yet to see a price cut? 

Then you claim you see the numbers for what they are, what exactly is that if you don't mind me asking? 

I'll say again, look at last year, after the initial launch boost, during non major game release months; what was the PS4s baseline at $400? This is a very very simple question. Common sense would suggest that at the same price the PS4 will just go right back to selling at whatever baseline it had last year, which is exactly what it's doing. This is coming sense.

it's also common sense  that at a lower  price the XB1s base line will be higher, which is also what it's doing. 

so what numbers are you looking at, and how do you fail to see this obvious fact? yet you say you aren't doom mongering.

Edit: Just realizing that the PS4 won by just 10K less than I predicted. And people laughed at me when i said the gap would be that big! February, I predict at least an 80K differece.

It seems like you're talking about monthly (which is fine), while I (and I assume Acevil) are talking current lifetime.

I'm not sure what you are comparing things to, here. 

There are many reasons why the above numbers happened, but what ultimately matters is those numbers. They'll have to have some aggressive changes to get maintain growth.

See the convo above. And of course there will have to be some aggressive changes to maintain growth. I didn't really argue against that and I'm sure Sony are aware. The position they are in, right now, is fine, though.

I understand that chart, but I think it is also an effect of how much stronger the holiday market is becoming as well. If however Feburary continues to showcase a trend of being behind 50k from PS3, I would start to paint the picture more scary. However I do still believe this is just a by product of demand being way too strong earlier.
