Wouldnt it be awesome if sony, ms or nintendo offered your digital games to be redeemed for a physical game at any time for a small fee like 5-15 bucks, sending it to you per mail? That saying if the game allready exists in physical form or maybe even if they dont exist in physical form, like indie titles for example.

There are a lot of people out there who are like me collectors or people who want a gurentee if the game sucks to get their money back. I think sony, ms and nintendo should be like a bank. People go to the bank and leave their money there because of trust, trust that they can always get their money back in physical form while its more convenient to pay with credit card and online. It would curl more people into digital gaming which will give more money to the big 3 and devolopers.

Of course, but I'm just talking about new games that in the future might not come out physically anymore because digital games will take over completely.

What would be amazing too, is if you could deactivate your digital game license and get a varying percentage of credit back (depending on how long you've had it), as long as you do it within a week or two of purchase. As far as I know, this isn't an option anywhere right now.

You overestimate the amount of fucks U.S. broadband companies will give. Digital-only would crush a sizable part of the U.S. market, as well as do bad damage in emerging markets.

Anything working against digital-only gaming is welcome in my opinion.
