There have been requests for this thread to be converted into an official Witcher 3 thread. What say you guys?

I discussed this with Conegamer, so figured you guys know about this already, but I had the idea of making a general Fakes Thread, now I didn't really explained the idea to Cone and the message might've been butchered, the idea is to have a thread where the people skilled in illustrator, gimp or whatever can mess around making Fakes about videogames, say something like this.

Doing fake leaks is more fun as that can spread through the internet and the ensuing chaos can be pretty amusing, so that's what I can to Cone with, but its more of leaks in general.

I'd also be about discussing leaks and to have the more knowable people see weather its true or not.

I figured its best to keep said thread for after E3 as to not ruin bananaking's leak thread, so just keep this in mind.

I also offered myself for some PlayStation E3 thread, but I'm not sure what its about, is it a hype thread, a general discussion for all PlayStation stuff on E3?

Anywho, what its about, what content should it have and when should it be posted.

Hi, how soon do you need to have an OP for the E3 thread? If somebody was willing to split duties amongst multiple people, and I was free that day, I would be happy to help contribute. BraLod gave me the idea. I think it would be a great way to cover other conferences as well in the same thread; not just Sony

im willing to do the Sony E3 thread as well, but just know i wont be on the time it airs, due to timezones. if thats okay i am willing to make it.

This makes an awful lot more sense now you've explained it. I was discussing it with some of the mods and we were all a little confuused, but yeah this seems like a nice fun idea. Waiting until after E3 sounds wise, however.

As for the E3 thread, I'd advise you to look at my thread from last year (though a lot of the links and content was broken so iit had to be removed), on top of ofcourse the Sony thread and the MS thread. Basically, what you need is a big and informative OP which holds most or all of the news in it, on top of something fun and catchy which the community can enjoy. You'll probably be wanting to start making preparations soon; Slade has already done so and Smeags has been...erm...busy...but has also made in-roads though no thread yet. Your thread will act as a general hub for the week(s) before E3 to do with PlayStation, a place where people can comment during the conference and then analyse after (including all the key news and videos being put in the OP for any latecomers). Think of it as a Nintendo Direct thread but more structured and dialled up to 11.

The key is to note that the thread will not be easy to make and it will take a lot of time and effort to do, and probably help from your friends on the site as well. But if you're willing to do all that then it can also be one of the most rewarding experiences on the site too. So what do you think?

If you look at the above threads I linked it's pretty clear a seperate thread for each conference is the way to go. The threads get easily over 1,000 (over 2,000 in some cases) posts and the effort put into the OP's wouldn't really do them justice to clump them all together. On top of that Slade and Smeags have already started work on their respective threads so any change now would cause havoc with their preperations. 

Aside from that the details remain the same. If you, Bananaking and Kylee wish to discuss making the thread and then work together when one of you actually makes it to help out with content and what have you, that would be great. But that's really something for you guys to decide.

I meant small tidbits from other conferences that might affect Sony such as EA and Ubisoft etc. If EA announced Mass Effect 4 during their own conference (hypothetically) and it was going to be released on PS4 why couldn't we include a small tidbit about it? I wouldn't try anything to steal thunder from Slade and Smeags obviously.

The game is coming next week on Europe and I´m very excited about it, I want to start the thread today as Metacritic prediction, like skullwaker did with Splatoon, and then I will update every review the game has.
