Guys, I think FFXV is coming on on 2015, Square has released a FF game every 9 years.
1988 - Final Fantasy II
1997 - Final Fantasy VII
2006 - Final Fantasy XIII
2015 - Final Fantasy XV
I also think Resident Evil 7 is coming out on 2015, all the pieces point out that Capcom releases a RE game every 6 years
1997 - Resident Evil : Director's Cut
2003 - Resident Evil: Outbreak
2009 - Resident Evil 5
2015 - Resident Evil 7
It all makes sense now, impressive how gaming companies release games on a pattern and we didn't noticed :O

You say Metroid skips every third console just because it skipped the N64? That's a pretty big assumption to make. There could easily still be a Metroid made for the Wii U. You're trying to draw patterns where there are none.

I mean, there could be a Metroid game in 2018, but that doesn't mean there won't be one before then also.
