It's beating the Wii U on Amazon US right now. PS3 is also tracking ahead over the Wii U in Japan. It also should in a lot of places, in most to be honest.
Also, the Wii U is almost 3x the PS3 in this update, when the next come both should be really close in USA and the global gap will be pretty big.

I forget about online sometimes.  But Wal-mart is giving a $40 gift card with a purchase of a WiiU this week, so next week should have a bump and be above ps3 again.


I don't know about the Wal-mart sales though, usually Amazon sales represent the actual scenario to USA (at least with the PS4 and the XBOm 100% accurate), and if that is the same with other systems, PS3 and the Wii U should have very similiar sales in the next 2 updates (USA), with the next the Wii U still ahead and the one after it the PS3 ahead of it.


It's still the largest retailer in the states so anytime something has a gift card it will have a bump.  The calcuations of the site might not reflect it though.  Also noticing a lot of shoppers coming in with tax refunds so this should help ps4 and Xone too.

Yeah, it's roughly 19M for PS4 according to VGC. So the week ending Feb the 3rd VGC will have PS4 at 19.2M I believe(unless they adjust).

Same general feeling for 3 weeks and seeing how all the numbers stacked in delay and are being released really close to one another it makes me fell they all came from the same data and just some offsets for normal drop.

NPD will be really interesting, Sony PR for 20M or next quarter report will present really amusing data.

Don't expect 50% marketshare before the end of October.. A lot can happen though....

A rate based upon a week ?? Of course I believe PS4 will sell much more than 10K above X1 and WiiU combined as an average by end of march 2015.

So you still think it will happen in March =p?

Doubt there will be official PR for 20 million sold through.  Seems pointless when they recently announced 18.5
