No they didn't they acted like muppets knowing full well the whole tournament was delayed, what has disrespecting Zero got to do with the tournament's delay, do they act like that when the trains and buses are late as well. They wonder why the Smash community isn't taken seriously in the FGC.
The tournament was lucky to have been salvaged in the first place, I feel like people could have at least acted courteously due to the conditions. Don't really care what's been promised, but you don't act like a douchebag like that, especially towards someone that has nothing to do with why you're angry in the first place.
Man that's disrespectful, almost reminds me of the Halo scene except no where near as bad.

I guess if any crowd were made to wait 4 hours or however long it was with no updates on when their event was going to happen, they'd be chanting and booing. From what I've read about everything else surrounding the event, from the sudden change of venue to travel difficulties (both before and after) had gone against them.
I'm not defending their behaviour, though, it sounds as if it was despicable.

I really want to believe that you're joking right now. You can't honestly believe that these people had the right to act like whiny little bitches because the tournament schedule was all fucky because THE HOTEL VIOLATED MULTIPLE FIRE CODES. Regardless of that situation, if you fucking traveled to one of the biggest tournaments for whatever it is that you do and trained your whole life for it and then WON THE TOURNAMENT, you would probably be pretty upset if you got booed off the stage.
I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

no respect for such "gamers" who play the most broken chars just to win. and people get realy pissed if busses get delayed more than 5 mins, and thats totaly fine too. if you can organise or execute something well than get out the way and let other people try if they can handle it. |
I can understand if people dislike Dabuz' for timing people out even when the tournament was delayed. The fact that you do not respect Zero for picking the most viable character, on the other hand, is beyond ridiculous.

Yet many people respect Fox players so don't come out with rubbish like that to justify people acting like pratts and considering the tier list in the game is far from figured out it makes those using this notion even more foolish. When the is a delay on trains and buses I don't see people disrespecting those already on the bus or coming off, this group have successfully tarnished Melee's followers and made them look worse then the clowns you see on Xbox Live.
I really, really dislike those hardcore, nostalgia gamers when they act like that.
