Yeah Persona 4 does have mostly randomly generated dungeons as well, although they all have different themes (can't remember if P3 did either so maybe that isn't new). Although I also think the story of P4 gives more incentive to actually finish the dungeons than P3 did, so maybe that will help if you ever get round to it

Well, Kresnik is playing the portable version and you can directly command party members in that one.

In P3, the appearance of the dungeons depends on what block you're on. Persona 4's dungeons have a lot more thematic diversity, though. Most of the floors are randomly generated though there are a few that are fixed where you have to solve a mini-puzzle.

I dont know what I was expecting coming into this but holy shit did it blow me away. I mean P4G is my 2nd fave game of all time, if this even comes close to it O_0 But if its better... *faints*

Damn it, Heavenly King, I was about to say that this is the first time that a trailer is released and not a single negative comment can be found. Anyway, really wish the quality of the series and the internet hype would translate to the sales that this franchise deserves. Maybe Persona 5 will somehow become mainstream. One can dream.

Not sure how mainstream you expect it to get but all signs are pointing up for the series. Persona 4 Golden the latest game in the series and a remake of Persona 4 is the highest selling game in the franchise... and its on Vita O_0
Then we have Catherine, the niche puzzle game created by the Persoan team as a base engine for Persona 5's art direction which went on to sell 960k, more then any Persona game.
I would be surprised if Persona 5 cant go on to sell over a million if not more, while popularity in Japan may not have changed a lot it has definitely grown in the west and it couldnt have been on 2 better platforms to sell units here in the west.

It'll get over a million. It feels like every game can sell at least a million on PS4.
