Meh for these. How about making more of the currently rare amiibos?

These shouldn't even be considered until they fix up availability of the regular Amiibo.

I think i will be soon out of this amiibo game. Just too many pointless ones. this is going to be a total of 4 marios, plus 3 of the 4 retail exclusives i couldn't get. Time to sell out i guess.

I reluctantly pre ordered the new mario bros amiibo set but to make a colour variation just doesnt fly with me.

It's a brilliant idea. Skylanders does it and those who are really hardcore collectors go crazy over variants like these. Problem is that retail staff generally buy all the rare variants to resell before they hit the store floor. These would work really well as "new" club nintendo incentives however.

For the rest of us, well we would just like to be able to buy a god damm shulk first.
