The battle mode is (as you would call it) a giant turd. Double Dash and MK DS had more variety than MK8.

Are people playing on battle mode? If not, then that answers all the questions in this thread regarding Splatoon. New modes may not be worth Nintendo's time. This may even be a lesson learned from Mario Kart or Smash for all we know. They have statistics for their own games which don't follow industry patterns necessarily.


No, it doesn't. Nintendo fucking up battle mode absolutely doesn't justify them stripping down content in another game. If they mess up a mode in one game, they should be making sure the extra mode in the other game is up to stuff, not say "I guess we just suck at this. Better just take them out."

You'll probably buy it after that. How often do you chat with strangers online when playing games competitive games or 4v4s, 5v5s?

And we also don't know if chatting with friends is possible.


On PS4 and X1 I chat all the time.  It's a big part of a lot of MP games.
