They are different games and Zelda is much stronger IP, except that, Zelda U looking like game that fans always wanted.

I think few games are going to be able to match the upcoming Zelda game tbh, it takes elements from all the previous games to become it's own thing while using it's own concept. XCX will probably perform better then the original which did well and outshone a number of JRPGs despite its limit release, XCX won't outshine Zelda in anyway but it'll take the series from being a cult hit to notable JRPG status.

It doesn't matter whether Xenoblade or Zelda wins, because Splatoon will have a perfect Metacritic and will double WiiU sales!

But seriously, even if Xenoblade has a bigger world to explore, Zelda is the one Nintendo will focus more, so I bet it will have more things to do and will leave a bigger impact.

Still want Splatoon to oustell them both, though.

I think in the future Nintendo should focus more on Xenoblade, it honestly is a better franchise.

xenoblade is almost complete, zelda u still looks a bit green, they can still polish the game content and have many months for that, if not more than a year

Xenoblade and Zelda are part of different genres, so I don't see the point of this comparison. If we leave that aside, I still think Zelda U will probably be better.

I don't care about that. I do like that these two awesome games are hopefully coming this year.
