Yes, like I said the "official" reviews said they got rid of it. The user reviews said, no they didn't, they're the same. And what FinalFan described sounds exactly like what you said, and exactly what I said. The only difference is the camera perspective.
He's right.  (Yes, I just checked.)  It's just that an "over-the-shoulder" perspective changes the gameplay COMPLETELY compared to fixed-camera.*  The difference is so massive we mistook it for an entirely different control scheme.  Entroper, you just don't understand what a difference it is unless you've played the earlier games.

*Well, that and free aim versus "high, straight, low".

You can imagine why those of us who suffered through these controls to gain access to the otherwise wonderfully atmospheric game reckon RE4 a monumental advance in control scheme.

Best game I've ever played. I finished it 6 times in a row. You can't beat the chicago typewriter, definitely speeds up the game.

The way Lisa says, "Whaddya know. She's right." It's just so lackadaisical, like she doesn't even care but is mildly surprised. I guess it's not one-tenth as funny for me to describe it, but I wish I could just mentally project that moment to all of you.

i played wii once or twice at my cousins house and the only things i was dissapointed in were the graphics (i own a ps3 so they look pretty shitty to me), and the lack of "hardcore" games. although i do like the mario galaxy game.

also i heard you have to connect the controller everytime you change games on the wii?

is that true?

^ Maybe you're thinking of playing Gamecube games. Every time you start up a Gamecube game, you need to use the Wii remote to start the game, then switch to the GC controller to play the GC game.
