I honestly think Microsoft and Nintendo will likely have the best showings, however I don't believe Sony will have a "bad" showing.

Sony is going to tout their new services rolling out to PlayStation Network, and games for the PS4. They'll attempt to make the PS3 and PS Vita seem relevant, but it'll be disappointing to anyone but ardent fans of Sony or those devices.

Most likely, both Nintendo and Microsoft will be bringing new hardware to E3. Nintendo in the form of a new console, and Microsoft in the form of HoloLens. While Microsoft already demonstrated HoloLens, you'll see more of it in action and more (greater) details about the hardware. Namely, the fact that HoloLens will include mobile capabilities (i.e. phone/data).

If Nintendo does make a console announcement, expect the release date to be Q1 2016. Hardware is on schedule, but Nintendo's network will be undergoing a major improvement. Look for a new, truly innovative gaming experience that'll awe the crowd in it's audacity, but might underwhelm in its implementation. Nintendo will be making an effort to appeal heavily to everyone, die-hard gamer, Nintendo fans, as well as young gamers. That said, the services will see a maturation in their feature set.

Microsoft has a lot of games to announce, but how those games will break down between 2015 and 2016 is currently anyone's (outside of Microsoft) guess. Microsoft will also talk about service improvements and features on Xbox Live, A major OS update will be announced for Fall 2015 that'll bring some new features to the console. Cross platform play between Windows 10 and Xbox One will be demonstrated. I think we'll also learn about new services coming from the cloud. Microsoft may feature some new games that'll take advantage of Kinect features, but the real big Kinect news will come in 2016.

Biggest thing from Sony will be PlayStation Vue. Biggest thing from Microsoft will still be HoloLens. Biggest thing from Nintendo will be a new hardware announcement (if they announce it) or a remake of an existing franchise for the Wii U.

I don't believe any games will be that impressive.

no way in hell we will get a console that quick

we havent had asny reports of presentations or events(like all new consoles get before e3 and after)

To be honest, I don't think Microsoft and Nintendo stand a chance.

I believe that Nintendo won last year. I think they rode the hype from MK8 into the show and showed the world that they were still a company that would have to be contended with in the console war.

For that reason I have a hard time believing that they can come back and do it again. In terms of E3 performances, they're certainly not the underdog going into the show. They're going to have to come out with Samus' blaster a blazin'...and even then I'm not sure what they've got up their sleeve beyond that will move anyone beyond us Nintendo faithful. I do think it will be a great show for Nintendo fans...but the focus in the media will be on their demise and not their continued, albeit, slow resurrection.

I think for some reason Sony has the momentum going into this one. They obviously have all the 3rd party support and the media is in love with the company and what they stand for. Their 1st party efforts will probably look "next gen," "pretty," "breathtaking," etc...

Considering that the PS4 will likely be the system du jour of this generation, I'm personally hoping they at least attempt to bring this Nintendo fan back into their fold. They obviously aggressively attempted this in the PS1/PS2 eras...but instead focused on the XBox fans in the last generation. Little Big Planet is all well and good...but deliver us an epic, fun, colorful platformer like Jak and Daxter...please.

Microsoft can turn a few heads if the Hololens somehow becomes a focal point of their presentation with less promises and more actual guarantees than Kinect was ever able to offer.

Totally blank here.

This truly sums up the PS4 phenomena, even according to their own business heads.  No one knows why the console is selling so well...but it is.  Even a broken image on a forum thread is proof!

I think you need to get some sleep

Will that make this nightmare go away?  I'm open to anything at this point.

Better? -__-

Nintendo said they have a ton of surprises for us that they can't talk about right now. But that there are apparently a ton of games coming out on the Wii U soon. Nintendo is gonna win easily. Metroid, Animal Crossing and who knows what else. Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem is a definite now since it was confirmed it was still in development. Maybe we will see a Super Mario Galaxy 3? Who knows.

Either Nintendo or Microsoft because Sony will probably spread out their news throughout the year.

I'll go with Nintendo.

I'm not sure. Any of them could win it. All 3 have huge games to show.
Based on last year's conferences, I think Nintendo will win again.

absolutely pointless discussing something like this when e3 is so far away. although it's a useful thread if anyone is trying to figure out peoples allegiances lol
