Anyway, I wouldn't expect all that much. A GAF insider had talked about a mid-tier FF spin off a long time ago. Keyword here being mid-tier. If we believe the rest of the info, Sony's bet on JRPGs should come from Japan Studios big new project, not a third party, so this one shouldn't be a really huge game. Which also makes sense because Sony prefers to own its biggest IPs instead of resorting on others'.

Between this and the Capcom news the other day, it's clear that PS4 is stretching out a bit in the exclusive department.

It won't be of much relevance unless these games come to the West or we get Western developers doing the same. I'm actually optomistic that they will and when that gap is bigger, I think we'll get the occasional unexpected exclusive from them too.

True, you have a good point there. However, it's still positive news to expand the Japan line up and increase that install base. I'm looking for any reason really to stretch out the PS4 Japan audience because I want that DQ11! lol

Oh, yeah. I'm not trying to play it down. This is excellent news. Perhaps it has something to do with this:

I would advise everyone to keep expectations at the lowest possible. This is Square Enix we are talking about remember? Squaresoft is long gone.
