That is a fantastic attach ratio! How many WiiU games are going to have more that 50% attach ratio by the end of this gen?

Wow! I knew it would sell great but I was expecting 5m at the end of the gen not less than a year after the game's release.

They will probably release a full Mario kart 8 with all dlc for maybe 70 bucks and that will even add more legs,
old skool

Wonder if people are still gonna think this will be "The Worst" selling one.

That's awesome news for MK.
I'd be all over this if they didn't use tilt motion for wiimote.

you don't have to use tilt motion. there is an option to turn it off and use the directional pad instead :)

No it's not. 4.77 million shipped + digital. 4.2 million sold at retail then makes sense (a lot more than your 4.4-4.5 million figure).

Whoa whoa whoa!! So you're saying I can just use the D-pad to steer using only the Wiimote (sideways)??? I've been told that the wiimote controls is the same as the original MK Wii version and I hated that cause there was no option to change that.
Thank you thom, now I shall pick myself up a copy soon =)
btw, would you happen to know how the controls is like for Smash Bros U for just using the wiimote sideways?
