Is this the first time FF 13 is over DQ9?

Looking at this list, you would think the Japanese cared and supported the Sony brand.

I think FFXIII has always been above DQIX.  Monster Hunter 3 was #3 before the cancellation of PS3 version.

SSBB used to be a resident of the top 10 list too, but now its position has been replaced by Mario Kart Wii (because the game has been released).  Glad to see the increase momentum of Mario Kart WIi.

No it hasn't. I've seen tons of these and DQ 9 ALWAYS beat FF 13 out.

 dq9 has always been 1 and ff13 2.  kinda surprising that they switched.  wonder whats the cause.

the fact that animal crossing and mario kart are so high on that list despite the fact that this is not their demographic is great.

Yeah, you are right. Now I remember, PS3 titles used to occupy #2-#5 positions..... Sorry about the incorrect information. However, FF13 did beat DQ9 for 1 week in March 2007, just 1 week......
