How big is Apex usually?

Not sure about regularly, but Apex 2015 is the largest Melee tournament to date.

THis is a great move, but it need more to make the game a hype machine.

The smartest they've made all decade.

I guess the rumors were true. I wonder if they'll stream it during the event.

And me thinking it would be Pokken.
Still, nice move by Nintendo.

Reggie said they want Splatoon to be another MK for them. At least they seem to be trying.

In terms of entrants, this year there's around 1,024 for Melee, 800 for Smash 4, 170 for Brawl and 180 for Smash 64, which is record breaking all-around except for Brawl entrants. Not sure about other fighting games though.

With this in mind, I'd say anything between 50-120,000 viewers during the final day is expected. And around 20-80,000 during the first two days. Saying how big Apex usually is does not help with predictions since Apex and Twitch in general has grown every year, to my knowledge.

 Hellz yea! More Splatoon the better.
