If you don't like the name would you not give the option to change it.
Also if some one is flame baiting can you not call them names? I agree with the rest good job

Pretty sure the mods are offering the option to change user names (in specfic circumstances only of course).

Nope, you can't call people names even if they are flame baiting. Just report it and move on.

1 out of 2 I cant complain 😊. So to deal with trolls just report it 😞 . Oh well but I like the new rules

old skool

Trees being no more than three posts, because of the excessiveness, but what about posts that don't apply to the one participating in the thread?  For example, the thread topic is, "Do you have any old consoles? What are they?" and the reply simply says, "No."

I don't like one word answer posts because essentially, anyone can come in, say "no," while not actually adding to the conversation and is most definitely doing it to bump up their personal stats.

There needs to be like, a six word minimum on posts, or else what you're saying isn't significant enough to contribute. It's a forum, not a chat room.

Honestly, I don't see many changes at all from what my understanding of the rules were. Not a fan of not taunting banned members. Why would you have a monthly ban report if not to shame those who have misstepped.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Check out MyAnimeList and my Game Collection. Owner of the 5 millionth post.

Finally a way to ban RolStoppable XD

There is already a rule against one word posts, I've seen it enforced a few times as well.
9. Spamming. Spam, which is multiple replies in a row without any substance and replies that have nothing to do with the topic at hand, is not allowed.

  • Explain and justify your opinions. If you have nothing to add to a topic, then don't post at all.

I think this is the point though. If the thread is "Do you own any video game consoles?" and someone replies, "No," they can argue that their reply had everything to do with the topic at hand. There should be a 3-6 word minimum, in my opinion anyway.

Backseat moderating moderation was much needed because it was outta hand

So... by the new rules, am I still fine?

Staff announcement,

Incoming patients with Bloaty Head.

Good new rules and I'm glad the requested permaban thing is over.
