And the Virtual Boy was released by Nintendo management in prototype form. It is unfortunate he gets wrath for that to this day when it is really not his fault. And then to be humble, he takes the blame for decisions he did not make and steps down from the company only to have them kill him (allegedly) when he creates a competing handheld.

Obviously, I want Yokoi to win. He is the legend, in my opinion.

thx, at least someone is nice about it. all i've gotten is hate about who was left out, as you can see, so your comment is nice for a change!

Bah, don't mind the haters. I mean, I was surprised by Nomura being absent too, but FF got representation, and as far as I've seen, there's never been an elimination game that perfectly matched my opinion on who most deserves to be in. Sometimes the host forgets one, sometimes there's just not room, sometimes they just have a different opinion. So long as I have someone to cheer for these games are generally fun though. Lots of people don't get it, though. It's not about some scientific measuring of who is most popular, or it would just be a vote and everyone would vote once. It's just a game, and not one that needs to be carefully balanced. People need to learn in these games that thay're just that, games, and their favorite entry not winning doesn't mean all that much outside of this forum thread. It's more a measurement of who has the most fans out of the people that saw the thread, and who has the time to actually vote as often as possible. There's a little strategy as well. But just because the game doesn't turn out how you think it should doesn't mean that the host is "biased" or that anyone cheated, or that it's unfair. People just can't always handle these games when they take them too seriously.
