So with smash bros we got the gamecube adapter.

why the fuck you no work with mario kart

Lol MKWii had a rather large competitive scene, in fact its probably still bigger than MK8's. And why the fuck would you ever play coins only??

I think it's ridiculous, but considering how both PS4 and Xbox One don't support any previous generation controller, the fact that Nintendo even has any kind of support for a controller two generations ago is pretty remarkable.

I don't know why is the adapter not compatible with the PC. As long as the 3rd parties knockoffs can do both WiiU and PC, that will be the one I buy.

Bacause you can buy the freaking Wii u pro controller, that´s why it is not all that much different. The gamecube controller is not a better competitive controller than the Pro controller.
