I guess this thread started with my "why doesn't Nintendo remodel their Consoles Until they are dead" one. Would a redesign model of the gamepad be beneficial to the sale of the Wii U in anyway? Mostly people say "It looks huge! It looks so uncomfortable! I wouldn't buy that tank-isk look of a thing!" and "It looks like a fisherprice toy" (90% of these people don't have a Wii U, mind you).
So if Nintnedo can hit this audience can it rebound from it's slump even more?
I remember this being a problem initially with the OG GBA (looked like a 3 year old learning tool). Look at the difference at what a remodeling job can do!

Once thing I will say though is that Nintendo doesn't like to remodel systems if they do bad (Nintendo 64, Gamecube, and the Virtual Boy are all examples of this). Also in the end the GBA SP model did sell more than it's OG GBA Model (About 38mill to 43mil respectibly).
Also, rumor had it that nintendo started remodeling the Gamepad but it was quickly dismissed as just a bad camera angle on the GAMEPAD. PIC HERE: (even at a bad camera angle the Gamepad looks so much better slimer
).

So will a newer and sleeker Gamepad equal more sales for the Wii U? Ninty Fans are really adament about not dropping it, so this can be the next big thing.
