wait, man.
3ds 3d sucks, get the proper 3d console.
wait, so there's a new 3ds that has more power...does this mean that games made specifically to take advantage of the new hardware will be un playable on the old 3ds models?
Can't speak for everyone else but for me personally it is since I don't currently own a 3DS anymore. Now is a good time to buy one for me.
I wonder what the speakers of the new 3ds xl are like. The original model was ok but i hear the xl is pretty quiet. I'm also curious about crosstalk.
You said you have a DSi. All 3DS models use the same power cord as the DSi, so you shouldn't have to buy one.
And yes, it is worth the wait and price. Shorter load times, faster internet connection, better 3D, larger screens, longer battery life, larger SD card, extra input, better build quality overall. Just wait for the New XL.

I don't remember where, but I heard the New model has a higher max volume. I was under the impression that the original and XL are equal in volume though.

You should get the New 3DS in a month man. For the reasons stated above AND people are forgetting it has more Buttons and the additional Analog stick. Games like Resident Evil: Revelations, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Kid Icarus: Uprising need it, and to play those games you need a circle pad pro on the 3DS. It also has faster download speeds for eShop games and a better web browser and interface I heard. WAY WORTH the money and the MONTH Wait...

It's definitely worth it if you're a hardcore 3DS user. The features are pretty amazing and will pave the way for fantastic games in the newer future that will take advantage of its speedy processing.
If you don't already own a 3DS it'd be stupid not to get a New 3DS for a little bit extra. Not only will it be able to play new games that are New 3DS exclusive like with the Gameboy Color, but it will cut load times from every DS and 3DS game and have a faster menu system, and the c stick.
