I actually don't see that much of a difference. For example when I switch from 480P@24fps on YouTube to 720P@60fps I hardly notice any difference.
Can you tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps when you play video games? | |||

It's YouTube... It compresses everything to look horrible.
I thought at one moment that I couldn't until I played the last of us, playing around with the FPS lock and unlocked. Now I can tell when the game is at 60 fps, for example, I played PVZ garden warfare recently and immediately realized it was 60 fps without knowing anything about the game.
720p 30FPS doesn't look that much different to me than 1080p 30 FSP honestly...

I can tell probably 95% of the time. It's really obvious, it looks so gorgeously smooth. Games at 60FPS usually control a lot nicer too.
I really don't pay attention. I'm too busy paying attention to how good the gameplay is.

This. Also, I find low resolutions (720p, and even under) look good at 60fps, but anything less than native res at 30fps looks...rough, to me.
PS, PS2, Gameboy Advance, PS3, PSP, PS4, Xbox One
Yes. I generally don't mind 30 FPS on console but for some reason on PC i will go out of my way to lower graphics settings if necessary in order to hit a consistent 60 FPS because it's almost painful otherwise. Maybe it has something to do with sitting closer to the screen.
