As the title reads, what's your excuse to get a system? It can be any system. Name your excuse that allowed you to get the desired system.

PS3: After being a PC only gamer for a long time I got PS3 in 2009. Why? I needed to play Uncharted 2 and Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm.

PS4: I was hoping Watch Dogs will be my excuse. But it was delayed. But I needed PS4 to play upcoming PS4 exclusives. Finally I saw the light. It was Infamous Second Son.

So what's your excuse?

Playstation is manditory for me for its library as time progresses.
Nintendo for the exclusives.
Microsoft because of Killer Instinct, Halo and Gears of war (as well as other exclusives that might catch my eye)

Don't really care about PC exclusives now that the key multiplats like BF, Witcher, Diablo and other games have made their way to consoles.

Wii U: Only had an Xbox360 last gen and I was really sick of all the boring gray shooters they were fun for a while but wore out their welcome real fast by a year or 2 it was already collecting dust. Why: Super Mario 3D World, Monster Hunter 3U and other Nintendo games.
