1 Billion = 1024 million, 1 Million = 1024 thousand, etc

Also, any sandbox game creator should be able to compete with exquisite artists like Jay-Z to acquire something as essential as a big *ss house. I'm talking to you, government.

Yeah, we do that here as well, but the use of the European numbering system is dwindling in general.

Just wondering, where are we seeing the celebrity arrogance part?  Misuse of money is debateable, since people have different definitions for that.

Technically its not misuse, because he is in the billion dollar bracket and can afford to keep the house, but he did set a record for a house purchase in beverly hills. Of course its not the hamptons kind of sales, but still a hefty one. :)

I was really half joking, but like you said it's debatable. Arrogance is used in context as too much pride, or taking things for granted, which are stereotypes of "rich celebrities". So, it's almost like Markus Persson is entering that sort of lifestyle as he is buying a 70Mil mansion.

I think it also depends on how he actually uses the mansion as well, though.

Quite true. I'm not here to judge Notch... And if he pulls a Batman and turns the mansion into a haven for kids, I'm sure everyone will look at his purchase much more brightly.
