I still think we'll be seeing more release dates announced relatively soon. I really don't think Mario Maker or Yoshi will be delayed.

Yoshi was already delayed, see sig! :L

No it wasnt, at no point in time did Nintendo say it was a 2014 title. At every quarterly report they had it listed as TBA

I don't even care enough to fact check that!

Yep, the unified platform strategy shall be glorious.

Especially if they also hop on the region-free bandwagon.

I assume they will based on recent statements. Knowing NoA, America will be region-locked but everywhere else won't be.

Which a would piss me off. I don't care about Japanese games, but Europe gets some english games before us and I want to get them early.

I still think we will get more for the WiiU. Some of the 3DS stuff was announced only about a month or so before release.

by the way, in their statement on wii u/3ds npd numbers, nintendo said the following: "Nintendo is looking to ride the wave of momentum into 2015, with the launches of Splatoon, Yoshi’s Woolly World, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. and Mario Party 10."

all of the titles mentioned, as you can see, are q1/q2 titles. there's no xenoblade, no zelda, no star fox... which means that yoshi is still on for the first half of this year. mario maker maybe not so much (but i already predicted a june/july release for that, which could make it either q2 or q3). anyway, yoshi is coming and there'll probably be another direct in late february, early march to confirm as much, with some more details on splatoon's online and details/a release date for mario maker.

yes... WiiU needs an extra game!

Switch!!!

This is first 5 months, not first half of 2015, pretty sure we will get some games in june and maybe another game in may.

So what do you think of this lineup for first half of 2015?

It's awful. I had expected Devil's Third and Mario Maker in a first half. And some cool surprize like Fatal Frame V localization. Well, at least I can play Mario Kart 8 dlc. God bless Nintendo.

i'm starting to notice a pattern. weak 1st half of year with one worthwhile title and a nostalgic title (splatoon and kirty vs mariokart and donkey kong) then really awesome last half of year. i expect last 4 months to mimic last years. sept- star fox vs hyrule warrarios, oct-xeno vs bayonetta, nov- smash vs zelda dec-well... nothing. I do think we'll get a nice bonus of devils 3rd in august though. i'm REALLY hoping and half expecting a doulbe whammy in october of xenoblade AND fatal frame V.
Last year i was delighted to receive my number 1 e3 wish announcement; bayonetta 1 packed in with 2. This year i just want fatal frame announced as an october release. 2016 i want metroid or kid icarus announced. I try to keep my wishes realistic.
