Hope no. I want a new Metroid for WiiU not for 3DS or N3DS.

I definitely think a new Metroid would be New 3DS exclusive. I think it may be a case as well, of the Wii U and New 3DS games working together in some respect, similar to Smash. Certainly joint development.

Indeed, and they can be two different games honestly.  I like both 2D and 3D style Metroids, but it would be great if they could make a better version of Other M.  No point and aim and no emphasis on story, just really clean mechanics and awesome atmosphere.

I hope we get both a MP and Super Metroid style game....and while they're at it a better 2D mechanic with 3D graphics Metroid.  We honestly need 3 Metroids this generation.
