What surprises me most is how people get irritated with PR talk. They are paid to say stuff within this nature. Nothing unexpected here. We see this type of talk from Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony.

 I can't imagine some guy from Sony saying, "Oh, the competition has a great lineup of software and hardware, I can't argue with that, but here's why I think ours is marginally better." In your dreams, people. Be mature and don't let the company's arrogance tug on your panties.  Make judgements for your purchases for yourself.

Here he is on PS3’s alleged technical superiority to Xbox 360. “Third parties have started to move from the de facto 360 SDK. Of course people designed their next-gen games on it because that was the only one there. The PS3 shipped and so they said, ‘let’s port our 360 games to the PS3.' But now companies are recognizing that ‘hey, if I start on the PS3 and then port down to the 360, my 360 game is going to look better than if I had just designed it for the 360.' So the pendulum is swinging. The heads of development thinking ‘what’s going to show off my next-gen game that much better?’ It is to lead with the PS3 and then to port to the 360.”

 Did he really say that a 360 game will look better if it is designed for the PS3 and then ported to the 360? Isn't the best they can hope for is that it will look the same as if they design the game specifically for the 360? This guy is an idiot.

I said this a million times! . The 360's year was last year, and even with their best game and lower price they couldn't pull away from the PS3. I dont think the 360 can possibly sell more more this year than last(if any) , but I'm positive the PS3 will with games, blu-ray, and features attracting more people.

I dont think Banjo, Fable, and GoW2 is as good as Bioshock,Mass Effect, and Halo 3.

Wow, just for his comments here I will buy a used PS3 when MGS4 comes out. You can -1 for PS3 sales on the VGchartz board in June because of this guy.

More appropriate comment from him would be "thank god for the remaining exclusive 3rd party support from Konami and Square as without it we have nothing left other companies can't do better"

EDIT: I really hate Sony PR especially because people used to buy in to it before and hence why dreamcast died. People waited for PS2 because of the riches sony promissed them and missed out on an amazing system.

Die-hard supporters of Sony continue to sound delusional by greater deals with every passing day... I know it's kind of the guy's job to give Sony a good PR spin, but jeez. Telling outright lies about the competition just to make oneself look better is not good PR, especially when it's easily exposed.

Nope you're right. But they don't have to cause these games aren't gonna dissapear or decrease in quality all of a sudden.

+ GTA4 exclusive content, + Alan Wake, + Tales of Vesperia, + $100,- price difference, + Gears 2, + incredibly strong existing catalog 

I think 360 can be competitive at least. I agree that PS3 will have a good year though.
