1. It was Nintendo that didn't go for analogue triggers on Wii U

2. Not every GC game actually uses the shoulder buttons analogue

So this is Nintendos own failure and at the same time no excuse to bring zero GC games.

Yeah, Nintendo chose digital triggers. So what? Why is that a failure? Personally I prefer digital triggers for most games.

I can't think of any GameCube games that treated the triggers like digital buttons, but I know that Mario Sunshine and Smash Bros Melee used the analogue function and I can't imagine Nintendo sparing a moment of their time working on this if they won't even be able to release a flagship Mario game through it. Oh, and Smash Bros, or whatever.

Galaxy 2 is the launch title for this new Wii thing in every territory. All of the other games are different. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

There are enough games, that can be played with digital triggers. And theres the GC adaptor as well.

And there's already enough Mario right now.

But yeah, woohoo, i now can play games as download that already ran perfectly as disc titles and of which the most can still be bought easily.

Considering that they're now putting Wii games on the eShop I'd say the possibility of N64 and GC games is quite high.

I don't see why they just can't uing the service now and save us the trouble

What??

They should unify the service now instead of putting things off to the future

...They obviously can't now. It's a technical impossibility.

I am still expecting N64 games (but if we dont hear about them this year, then probably no), and after Wii digital games, there some chances for GC too.

I'm not much into N64, but I would love to play some of the GC Games on the WiiU, since I don't have a GC anymore. MK Double Dash, Smash Melee, F-Zero GX would be games I would like to play again... :)

I want Conker's Bad Fur Day and Mischief Makers.

Fat chance, I know.

They work in mysterious ways. They'd put GBA and DS games on Wii U before they do so on 3DS

I think there's a very specific reason for that.

You mean that Nintendo's management never fails to be making questionable decissions. GC ports on the gamepad would obviously make more people happy than pixelate gba games. Imagine F-zero gx on the gamepad now that would be something or super mario sunshine, four sowrd adventures an some other great games. Instead nintendo put gba games which would be way better on the 3ds on the Wii U eshop. At this moment they ask 10.00 bucks for one game but after that week 20.00 bugs for super mario galaxy which would be awesome if it wasn't for the without gamepad support part (motion controls are counterable with the touch screen and gyro and an extra stick). Which is almost as dumb of  a decission as not giving a charger with the N3DS.

I am not saying I could run Nintendo but the competition's management seems to understand the market a lot more than Nintendo, if it wasn't for their great developers I fear for Nintendo's future.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Gamecube titles can be run nativly on Wii U, in Wii mode. Now Wii U can run wii titles without Wii mode, so Gamecube titles also can be run.

The eShop Wii titles run in vWii, they are just disc images which include scanned manuals and are accessed via WiiU shortcuts. They could easily do the same for the GC games, since they also run natively on the vWii and controls can be mapped to the Gamepad (plus they got the GC adapter).

They could have used this method at launch (something I wanted), and had all of the Wii's digital content be accessible from the WiiU menu and have Gamepad controls. Then the VC would have also included N64 titles... but they wanted to sell us some WiiU VC.
