I'm not sure if someone made a thread of this yet or not, so forgive me if they did.

What do you think the biggest selling game of 2007 will be?

Some serious contenders: Halo 3, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, GTAIV, others?

I want to say Halo 3, but GTAIV cross-platforming could pull in a combined total higher.

Thoughts? And other games you think could sell ridiculously well? 

For me: Best game will be Super mario Galaxy...

But hard facts tell me that it'll be a battle between Halo 3 and GTA IV (3 mil first week)... With Super mario Galaxy and Super smash bros trailing behind with 1.2-2.0 mil 1st week!

All will have long legs and have top 30-50 sales for the rest of their respective console's lifetime.

1. GTA 4 2. Halo 3 3. Pokemon Diamond

Pokemon Diamond / Pearl and it isn't even going to be close ...

So far it has sold more than 5 Million units in Japan, will sell between 3 and 5 Million units in North America by the end of the year, and will likely sell at similar rates in Europe. I don't think there is another game that could potentially sell 15 Million units this year.

Ow hell yeah... I forgot Pokémon... That game is just blazin away the competition:

5 mil in Japan and still in top 20...    Thats just sick!.

1 mil in 2 weeks in America... 3th week 300k... Just sick!... Coming in Europe in Juli... Just as big there as in America... Which means it'll easily sell 3 mil in USA and easily 3 mil in EU closely after launchwindow!

Pokémon D/P = Only game that will sell more then 10 mil in 07!

Then Halo 3 with 4 mil in 2007.

GTA IV cross platform with 3.7 mil in 2007.

Super mario Galaxy with 2.4 mil in 2007.

Super smash bros: Brawl with 2.7 mil in 2007.

1st Pockemon, 2nd Wii Sports - likely, both with more than 10 million copies. You may not like them, but they'll sell. Nintendogs and Wii Play too.

wii sports, perheps nintendogs?, sold about 6 mil last year, and no sign of stoping really.

I forgot about Pokemon, but I think portable/console sales should be separate. Portable: Pokemon, of course Console: If you count Wii Sports in the pack-ins for Europe and NA, than yeah, Wii Sports would win hands down. I believe the only place selling it as a stand-alone is Japan, right?
