To be fair, there was no information released today in the NA Direct about X, it was just a trailer showing scenery. There was no new release information, and no new gameplay information. Technically speaking, there isn't any news to report, other than to mention that it "received new gameplay footage" today.



The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

The reason they didn't talk about it might have been that, if you think about it, Nintendo gave 0 new info on the game, they showed a new trailer and that was it.


an article about everything but XC: X, both times is kinda fishy imo. where's the trailer from November? where's the new trailer? they're not going to upload those trailers.

Also, not even Nintendo uploaded the November trailer seperately, chances are that the press didn't get that trailer to put up on their websites.

Example, IGN is ignoring Xenoblade Chronicles x since E3, they did a recap about the last Nintendo direct and they ignored XC X completely. Guess what? the same thing happened today, a recap of everything, even xenoblade for 3ds, but 0 info about XC X. same thing with a lot of big sites.


I'll ask about IGN, but they just barely uploaded the trailer, so there's that.

So far Eurogamer has run 5 Stories based off the Nintendo Direct, None for Xenoblade, but was there really any new info, just seemed like a new trailer to me.

There are still quite a bit of rough edges. That floaty running animation, for example. And the character faces do look atrociously bad for a game from the current era. 

But overall, the game looks absolutely phenomenal! Can't wait to finally play it.

Why would media outlets boycott this or any game? I mean, I'm not interested on Xenoblade myself, but IGN, Eurogamer, Gamespot... why wouldn't they report about a game that was announced on a Nintendo Direct or PlayStation Experience?
