Looking at the numbers Driveclub in such a short space of time is going to dethrone Forza 5 as the top selling next gen racer. 

It is way ahead of Horizon and I don't see The Crew on PS4 passing it out. 

Forza 5 - 1.85M

Driveclub - 1.51M

The Crew - 0.95M

Forza Horizon - 0.79M

Driveclub was discounted for Plus members and it did very well on the PSN charts for a number of weeks. It's probably come very close to passing Forza 5 already. With the 2 weeks of updates we're missing it makes it even more likely. 

The Crew on PS4 could throw a spanner into the works but unlikely. It's almost at 1 million is just 4 weeks so it's possible. But Driveclub will most likely take the top spot and hold it until the racing sales king Gran Turismo 7 returns and trumps all around it. 

**Some people unhabby with the exclusion of Mario Kart. I didn't think of it because it's not a realistic real world racer. It's a cartoon and it's racing carts not cars from the real world. I've taken on board the complaints and change the title to realistic racer. 

Almost caught up to Forza 5...Wow well done Evo studios.

Now give me my next gen Motorstorm.

Both Forza 6 and GT7 will easily surpass it in the end though

wil forza 6 easily do it? it's getting a lot of releases and then you have horizon every year in between. franchise fatigue could set it plus forza 5 left a sour taste in many peoples mouths. apart from that Driveclub will have over 2 millions sales possible 2.5M by then. I don't see Forza 6 beating that too easily. Could be wrong though.

i platinumed apocalypse so i've played it quite a bit but i don't want a sequel. Return to monument valley and the rain forest would be lovely. 

They can add in a mountain region too. 

You could have massive rockfalls, avalances, muslides etc etc but triggered by players crashing into things and setting them off. I just don't want the whole game to be one big "2012" movie game. Original motorstorm is still the best and for a reason. 

Forza 5's sales are impressive considering it wasn't heavily bundled if I remember correctly.

Gran Turismo 7 will be.

it was heavily bundle. Some EU stores still have their Forza 5 bundle in stock.
