Wasn't Driveclub digital version cheaper? If I remember correctly then that would lead to even more digital sales for the game, in comparison to the retail version.

MK8 isnt a racer, Smash Bros isnt a fighter, Nintendo dont make real games =P

yep it had a big digital discount. and the games been on sale the last 2 months. I'd say it's motoring it's way to the title.

lol just say in the OP that you are excluding MK8 and youre making a prediction on what is the best selling racer besides it. 

If you guys wanna go there...OP didn't include NFS Rivals which sold 4.07M units. Sure it's on more platforms but it still sold 4.07M units.

To be honest it is to be expected. Historically the PlayStation fanbase has always sold the most car games. It only stands to reason that a playstation console with no good car game apart from one is going to sell well? Call me captain obvious but .....shrugs shoulders with a meh look pon a di face.....

With that said passing a Forza game is never nothing to break about. They are the most bundled car games ever. Without the console sales to bundle them with, the games just wont sell.

I can't figure out why Mario Kart wouldn't count unless there is an agenda to be had. Which is clearly the case by the way. "Road Racer"? Yes, because in Mario Kart, you don't race on a road...

Mario Kart 8 is a racer too right? Just because it's cartoonish doesn't exclude it as a racer.
