Just dont find anything to get hyped up for in yhese kind of reveal videos anymore.
Nobody actually believes that the models will look anything like this in the actual gameplay portion of the game, and autovista is generally just a circlejerk over car models that never use that level of detail in play because of cutbacks in detail and mesh complexity to get the game running at a playable rate.

Same goes for the eventual gt7 reveal video, no doubt the same folley of cherry picked high detail work you will never experience outside of photo mode.

Color me unimpressed

That first 30 seconds is the real life car isn't it? I was under the assumption that none of that was part of the game.

I guess we can expect what we can expect from every new racing sim iteration within a generation. This will apply to the "other game", too.

believe me i prefer Horizon 2 then DC or Forza main series, this kind of genre is to repetive and now it becomes more repetive by releasing 2 years in a row. unless if they make the game innovative (make the game more then just racing on the street ), i dont mind.

Not "now", it's been so since years.

That's why Microsoft games exclusive don't have to become low like FIFA, Call of Duty and other casual games, that releasing annually,  it will ruined the exclusivity and elegant image of games. There will be no reason people buy games if there will be another games in next 1 or 2 years after (i bet most people just wait for the best version).

The good thing is: you don't have to buy anything! You can decide whether to buy the games or not. Btw, mainline Forza is every two years, not every year.

That's a bad thing, because if they didn't make annually there are a lot of chance they make another exclusive games  beside Forza  (bringing back lost odsey maybe) or another exclusive games that outside Halo and FPs genre.

It's interesting, about half the posts in this thread basically scream "I don't care about sim racers!" So.....why are you posting here.

As for Motorsport's 2 year dev cycle. It's been that way since the beginning in 05, and aside from Forza 5 which obviously had some launch game syndromes they have been of continually higher quality, as well as top of the genre. Even 5 brought some really awesome new things to the Fable, despite it's shortcomings.

So for those of you trololing about cus a certain other game takes it's ungodly time every iteration....yes, Turn 10 pumps out (arguably better) games much faster. And thank god for that.
