Just a thread to talk about how the consoels are doing in your town

Here is mine

PS4: Selling pretty good except no one is buying the destiny bundle software sales are amazing

Xbox One: selling ok(pricecut harmed it) software sales are great(lots of people buying cod and gta V same as ps4)

Wii U: terrible(I havent seen someone buy a wii u since I went to walmart on Black Friday) but smash, kart, and toad are killing it

People still prefer to buy PS3s and Xbox 360s, the 8th gen consoles are considerably expensive in my country, especially the XONE.



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

No one is buying PS4 around here - because it is completely sold out.

Xbox One doing absolutely terrible. Shitloads of stock EVERYWHERE despite multiple price cuts by the retailers. I saw a Package with Assassin's Creed for as little as 299 € the other Day. (That's the Same price as a PS3 with two games and two controllers here) Nobody wants it.

Wii U is doing ok. Not mind blowing, but certainly better than in the last two years.

seems like xbox one is bombing in germany sadly

at least wii u is doing better than 2 years ago there

All I can do is describe my anecdotal experience - a couple of people have Wii U, the rest have PS4 or plan on getting PS4. I have yet to meet a person with an xone but many of the Xbox live features are useless for Canadians.  Also, last gen people were really turned off by 360 and Live.  Everyone had a 360 at first then it either broke or they felt Live was a rip-off after 3-4 years and ultimately bought a PS3 after.  Doesn't help that so many bought 360 in the launch window, I only knew 1 person out of 6 who didn't have a malfunctioning console. Now they all bought launch window PS4s.

X1 is doing fantastic in my town, constantly seeing people buying it, the PS4 hasn't really been selling that good, which is surprising. Almost no one is buying a Wii U.
