Why didn't you just get an extended battery, it would cost you like $15.

1. It is not the 15th, it is January 12.
2. XBO price cut ended on the 6th, at least officially. 3rd party vendors were still selling it at a low price days after.
3. We don't know when that chart updates. As far as we know, its days behind.
4. Current chart positions in the hourly are PS4 at #9 and XBO at #22. It's been like this for a few days. As long as these chart positions continue to look like this, PS4 will pull ahead on the January chart eventually.

One could argue that if you're playing enough to run out of charge on a controller then you need to stop playing.
Seriously though, controller chart positions mean absolutely NOTHING. DS4 is at #15 XBO Pad is at #18. There's a couple hundred thousand more PS4 owners in the US, that's the most logical reason for this.
I actually got a 2nd DS4 for free...but i don't really use it. The battery is enough for my habits. Though I guess we're veering a bit off topic here.

I got it "free" through a rewards/cash back program of some sort on one of my cards.
12 days in and we still have a thread for Amazon based discussion.
