I wouldn't be surprise if that was a hint of things to come. Zygarde also holds quite a similarity to Rayquaza, they both protect the world, while Rayquaza works with things in space and the atmosphere layers to protect the land, Zygarde does the same thing but directly in the land, or atleast by what his description says about him protecting the enviorement. The damage that the Primal pokemon cause it affects everything, and even the cycle by which Xerneas and Yveltal live, the stories shouldn't be that hard to mix into one that makes sense, though is not like things will make sense from now on with the addition of Hoopa.

agreed, however with the New 3ds coming out, a Z or emerald would be nice, especially if they include some kind of amiibo interface and spruce up a few things.

The bad thing is that they could easilly make a much much much better pokemon game than the ones they actually make, but they don't cause they're busy making remake after remake after each new gen. And they are not even complete.I mean 6th gen had what? 59 new pokemon?
OrAs could have easilly benn better remakes. How?, by adding the battle frontier.
